Hmm. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you think the coating would wear off quickly on a part that sees so much friction? Now, if the rotor were MADE of different metals, I would think that it might make a difference, but just a coating? I know that my rotors get corroded on the face after a rain storm, but a minute or two of driving takes care of it.

PS. I've heard that cryogenically (sp?) treating them affects rotors. I'd be interested if someone has some insight on coatings like zinc or cadmium.
