Oh this is just DANDY!
I had an appointment to go and get this done this morning, but when I got there, he said his "suspension guy" was out sick and they couldn't do it. Wouldn't it make you a bit nervous if, in a shop with 15 "factory techs" that only one guy was knowledgeable enough to do a common, documented recall? He told me to bring it in sometime this week and they'd "take a look at it. If it only needs to be sealed do that or order the parts and schedule a drop off time for the repair." I'm gonna go look for actual DaimlerChrysler documentation of the recal stating they have to replace it either way and take it with me to back up the fact...
