Ok well reading thru MSEFI.com I came across a few threads that gave information on using volvo and GM Solenoids. Seemed like they were sucessful in open loop mode only. Not much mention was given on the success or failure during closed loop. I think a few of you have been successful in running your cars in open loop all the time. (hopefully im not getting myself turned backwards here) Seems like it was a coding issue in certain code version of MStune. Maybe some of you guys that have been making progess with the MS can help me out here. ( I really need to d/l mstune and play with the software)
This thread was quite informative but I must admit some posts were a little out of my understanding. Maybe if i was in the situation myself I would understand better what they are referring to.
Would I be better off getting a seperate electronic b/c and use that completely outside of MS? Would the use of a standard manual boost controller be sufficient? Im just looking for some options that would prevent me from spending 250-300 on a greddy b/c.
