the 3.0 board is a little more difficult to assemble than the 2.2 but its worth it. there are two tachometer inpuit circuits, the opto isolator and the VR circuit. ive had better luck with the vr circuit, but you need to adjust the two resistors on the board to shift the signal level properly to the cpu.
