Not sure, MB.

Why not feed the TB from a NACA atop the "power bulge?" The relative low pressure area at the peak of the bulge should offer a good supply of fast, smooth air to the duct, which would then feed the TB via short route piping.

PS - I "helped" with your intake manifold last night.
