that has got to be the most ignorant statement ever. you seriously think electric motors cannot make serious power? why do you think mitsu has a prototype EVO IX driven ENTIRELY by electric motors inside of each wheel. it's a completely different world of AWD. it's like having an engine for EACH wheel. i guess some of the older generation with an indaquate understanding of electronics can't grasp the concept of electric motors and do not fully understand their potential. 12v means nothing. that's nothing more than the voltage pontential. it has nothing to do with the kinda power output you can get from a 12v source.

i think this board is seriously starting to show its age. or lack of intelligence anyways. it wouldn't be worth the time explaining the physics involved to you guys.
