My first thought was a sort of modified VC1 for a voltage clamp on the sensor output.
When i think about it, i don't think it's possible.
The tach feeds off the crank angle sensor, correct? Our crank has notches and counterweights machined into it picked up by a magnetic sensor (crank angle sensor) so it's output looks something like ``|_|`|_|`|_|`|_|`|_(fire)______60* turn_______|`|_|`|_|`|_|````` (repeat)
It works off of voltage peaks and lows as the crank moves under it. I doubt, without ECU modification, that there is any way to modify this signal to allow RPM over 7300. ______________________________________ -Dino Yancey I'm so bad, i should be in detention.
