Good to know its original. I didn't think that the cross-hatching on the cylinder walls would last that long! Still going to measure them so I can order the right pistons (when funds are available)... Might as well build her strong while she's already in pieces!

Anybody know how to remove the hardened carbon buildup on the head and valves without scratching the aluminum? I don't want to create hot spots during cleaning.
