DO NOT change the catalytic converter thinking its going to do anything super magical for you. NOx failure readings would point to a catalyst problem, high HC's only do not.

yeah, I'm holding off on it till the main problem is identified and resolved. Every little bit helps, right?

...get acces to a lab scope and read each cylinders secondary firing voltages. if you notice any hash at all, and depending on where and what cylinder....it will point you straight to your problem.

cliffnotes: use a lab scope for secondary firing voltage, 4 channels overlapping and good waveforms to look off.

any recommendations on good places to get that diagnostic done? Dealer or other?
