I guess my point was, if you want to slam hard, don't buy JL. Like i said, they do sound really good, and are loud. But if you really want to push em, they will blow!!! At the time i had mine, i was using about 200 watts to the sub, and siezed that voice coil up after about 2 minutes of hard hitting. Personally, i want a sub i can push really hard, cause you never know when you might want to turn up the sounds really loud when a good song comes on or whatever. If you don't want to abuse your subs, and don't really want to pound the hell outa em, then JL audio subs would be just fine. Just speaking on my personal experience here...
