I'm not runnin a pio, deck, but I'll tell ya about em...
the center frequency: is basically the frequency you're boosting/cutting. you can set that to properly compliment the frequency response of your speakers and your car. the "Q" is basically the "width" of the frequency boosted. if you lower the Q, you let the frequency (boosted) curve to "spread out" and cover a larger range of frequencies around it, where as if you raise the relative Q, you limit the (boosted/cut) frequencies to just a narrow band above and below the selected center frequency.
this is really tough to explain without graphs, but I hope you understand....
