in that case i don't think there's much you can do... the module is basically modifying the signal to the motors from your switches. your switches are no longer directly connected to the motors. if it were only one-touch down then you could bypass that portion of the module and only use the module for it's auto-roll UP feature (not to be confused with ONE-TOUCH OPERATION). in that case you would get some relays to use for the remote roll DOWN feature. but then you would basically have my setup. you'd be using the DEI unit as a more basic window module and be using relays for the roll-down feawtures.
in any case waht you're trying to do is turn the DEI unit into a basic unit like mine. it's probably gonna end up being more work than just swapping it for a normal module. it's really not that hard to swap and you'll probably come out ahead if you can sell yours for a decent price.
