If your deck already has RCA cables, it is WAY CLEANER to get the signal from the deck, rather than get the signal by splicing into the rear speaker wires. Usually that is not a good way to get the signal to the amp, unless your head units doesn't have preouts. I'm sure the RF amp should allow you have to connect to the RCA preouts of your head unit, and that way, if you head unit has a signal control, you can control the signal to the amp itself. LIke my pioneer premiere has from -6 to +6 so you can also adjust the signal strength to the amp (ano not just use tha gains on the amp to adjust it). Hopet hat made sense...
