If you are not getting any knock, and your EGT's are only 1450, then leave it at 11.8:1 No need to richen it up...I usually tune to 1525-1550 EGT. This is ofcourse with the proper amount of timing in it, which you cant really control with the stock ECU..I found for the S16G at 10 psi, i run 12.5:1 A/f and 22 degrees of timing, and it loves it. Higher boost needs a bit more fuel.
nope no knock or anything . right nows the best the car has ran since i turboed it so ill leave it at 11.8:1 . so the only way to ajust spark timing is msns ? what about the msd dis-2 ? ill definitly run a msns by the end of the year after i build the motor . so far its been 2 years boosted without any major problems . when i get the money to build it im gonna see how much the stock motor can really take . lolLED tails : Done for now! 99 eclipse rst cobalt blue met. paint, star stage 2 upgraded t3/t460trim turbo ceramic coated , polished compressor housing, ,optima yellow top, chrome i/c piping ,front mount ntercooler ,apexi turbo timer . zeitronix wb02 ,faze oil ,boost gauge, egt ,bosch 4x plugs, kyb agx struts, pro kit springs.17''adr venomous rims,Falken azenis ,brembo dilled/slotted rotors ,turbo xs bov ,oil catch can, manual shiftknob, autometer pyrometer egt , vortech sfmu,b&m fuel pressure gauge ,accel 310cc injectors ,gasketmatched and polished intake manifold ,58mm throttle body ,no egr, polished turbonetics wastegate, fuel pump rewire, homade fcd and a lot more .LED reverse lights ,sidemarkers and tails .atx to mtx swap .
