They are doing that with the 14b. SBR's current goal is to break into the 10s on a 14b. They are getting close.

someone has already run 10's on a 14b. Joe Bucci ran 10.6@131. Second place is 11.4@118. i think both of those guys at the shootout were faster than that, at least 1st place did.

just doesnt seem right.

Maybe SBR is trying to break into the 9s on the 14b then. It's been a while since I read the 14B thread on Tuners.

That would be my buddy Fonz. He's running a big 16 on E 85. He's gotten it down to 11.06. Trying to break into the 10's (the guy he beat in the semi's was running 10.9's. Fastest of the group)

They are not. That kid talks a big game and has spent some cash, but the best he has run is a 12.5. A far, far cry from 10's. He barely goes to the track yet considers himself on a "quest" for the record (even before he ran anything he was in a "continuing quest").

I just don't like posers. Talk when you've done something. Its all bullshit when you haven't.

Yup Joey did his run on the funny gas with a coke can. Not taking anything away from him, just pointing out that he was juicing at the time. So not purely on the 14b. BUT his record for no juice is 10.84

And the 11.4 that you are talking about is my buddy Phil Beers. He has done all that without cracking the engine open. Not even cams. The 14b on there is also the original 14b! (But I believe there is someone between him and Joey....).

Meh, not dropping names. just pointing out/clarifying some stuff.

...Hopefully by then I will have my spare motor finished and swapped...If not i'll run the mild 420a up there and meet a few people and just drink like an idiot...That already sounds like a plan IMO.
