OK. I wanna look into some rims. I want 19" rh evo c2's. I like the new c4 too tho- but it is multi-piece if u get 19", which is high dollar. I could get it in 18" in 1 piece. I really want 19's tho b/c not many people have them around here. People here tell me they won't fit. I know better. My question tho- they fit, but how hard is it to fit them with pro kits? Do they rub? do you have to modify anything? I am talking 19x7.5. Please answer if u know from experience only. Guessing is all I can already do. I need help making a serious decision here. TIA!

i wouldn't do 19's... there is a reason most people don't go any bigger that 18's for our cars. 18's are gonna slow down your car enough as it is. not sure about the clearance issues tho.
Anyone know anyone who can help me tune this in the Pittsburgh area (Greensburg)?

You won't have any problems running 19's, I run 19x8's on mine without a problem. The awe factor of 19's is awesome, gotta love it. As for the performance aspect, unless your building your car for all-out hauling ass speed, the minimal difference will be well worth it. I don't have a turbo, but I do run nitrous, and my performance is good. I've got the power to run / outrun most people, and the show-stopping capability that breaks necks and wins the shows. Go with the 19s and never look back!!

I'm a show goer mainly. I think my car will gain with the 19's I want. They weigh like 23 each. My 17's weigh 27.5 lbs EACH! JESUS! I figured 19's would have the "wow factor" That's why I want them. So people will just stop and say, "Holy shit, those rims are HUGE!" so they don't rub?

don't mean to steal the post, but does anyone know a good site to find the weights of different wheels? If those only weigh 23lbs, go for it... that doesn't seem too bad. I saw some nice 17s that are 13lbs tho, that's what I'm talking about ($300 each tho... ouch)!

Go for the "WOW factor" I've had my rims on for a couple of days and I'm constantly being asked "how big are those". I'm just waiting for some more funds so I can lower it. I'll be going with the ProKit I think. 19x7.5 with 225/35/19

I will throw in my 2 cents on this issue for you to think about.
I have 18x8's on my 95 Eagle Talon. The tires are 225/40/18 and they are really expensive. If you want the cheapest (and still not too shabby) tires they are at least going to cost you $110 a piece. It only goes WAY WAY WAY up if you try and get winter tires or big name brands.
225/40 is as big as you can go w/o rubbing. I have absolutely no rubbing at all. The problem with all this is that the tires are so little and soft that they def. don't last as long. To tell you what.. after having 18s for a while.. I would have rather got 17s. The tires are much cheaper.. and they are easier to find and replace if you are in sudden need of a new tire or two.
I do enjoy my 18's though.. they look great and you don't even feel bumps in the road at all. However, they do come at a price!
