Aren't the GR2's a stock replacement?

GR-2's are slightly stiffer than the stock shocks. Supposedly they are more heavy duty so they can withstand a lowered ride. I have em with my skunk2's. They're comparable to the Tokiko nonadjustables (about same price too). I never heard of Gold line springs, so I would stay away from that package. Koni shocks are really expensive, so those must be some cheap springs.

I'm not sure about that, but I know we all have KYB shocks stock. Or at least most 2g's do. But I know for sure that the 2gnt does not come with the GR-2's stock. Oh and the AWD Gr-2 is also stiffer - Kaiser has them on his car for better performance, but he says the ride is really stiff.

back to the question at hand...
i've never heard of gold line springs either... but i have heard konis are one of the best. so you think i can sacrifice on the springs to get good koni struts?? could the gold springs be worse than stock?

If you are looking to get your setup at Modacar, see if they would switch out the GoldLines for some Sprints. At least those are a well know name brand and I think they are only 125 bucks at Modacar.
But my best suggestion is to not settle for anything you or any body else here is not too sure about. Its better to get good quality brands that you can trust and that are a "Tried & True" setup. Its worth it to save for what is best for your ride. Don't screw your self on your suspension.
