i need to do this...theres about no other way around it....im from pa and we have some pretty strict emissions....im a 95 so i wont have to take the obd2 test.... if i do this blockoff, will the actual emissions suffer? or just visual emissions? because the guy i go to probably wont care if i disconnected it, as long as the probe tells him im allright....so what do you think? and ive tried searching, but is there a resistor or something to pu in the egr valve plug? ive read to just leave the solenoid thing pluged in, just not connected to vacuum lines...any input...thanks doug

The EGR reduces nitrogen emission at the expense of raising carbon emission. So it depends what they test for. Chances are you;d be okay if your car is running good and in tune.
