I know most of you dont really get into it, but my car club who is sponsored by a local audio place had a car show yesterday with a sound off. I ran my car through twice and hit a high of 145.6 dB. I have (4)12" JL W0s..Anyway, after I ran it through I stuck around for a little while, then ended up leaving. I just had a friend message me online telling me I got 3rd place and I need to go back because for the trophy they're taking a picture of me and my car and printing it off on a t-shirt with the 145.6dB I hit. Sorry for dragging on, I just thought someone else might get into this sorta thing.

Good job man..I used to DB Drag Race for several years when I was really into the car audio scene..I ran 2 15" Eclipse Aluminum Subs, and 2 Directed 1100D's in a ported box with ports going up through the rear deck(1996 Grand Prix), and hit a best of 153 DB's..loud enough for me.. I think I have some hearing damage though haha..ahh the bass head days

good score man! i used to run a wall in the eclipse (2 audiobahn 15s in an 8cubic foot enclosure tuned to 30hz). i was in the low 150s running about 600 watts to them.
just out of curiostiy, do you know what meter they were using?

yea thats preety kewl im working on my system right now for my eclipse although on my friends system that we built he was hitting 151.48 with the audio control meter which was a new usaci world record for that class but with the new meters there using dont know the name of it it drop down to 142 +/- 1-2 since those new sensors seem to be a lot tighter but then again all this is done with one 10" which is what I find to be very impressive alone dont if your wondering what type of sub it is it's a digital design

I like car audio as well. I use to have 2 12" Eclipse titaniums running about 600 or so to each sub. And that was loud enough for me. But then I sold them for reasons. And now just sitting with 2 12" kicker comp VR's Which work good enough for me!
