I'm running SFMU, dark spring, 21 psi FP, 30lb mustang injectors

I got a couple questions about the SFMU setup. I realized I was running mega lean and popped the SFMU open and the disc I installed in there way back when was a 2.22" disc with ring. I was just running off of the deltagates 5 psi with intercooler it knocked it down to 4 psi. It was fine until I installed the boost controller then lean o mania.

So I installed a 2.52" disc with ring in there and I can get it to go rich but I need to enrich the fuel about +5 to +6 on my SAFC @7psi and it goes lean for a second then gets rich.

I'm looking at the 2.72" disc and its got no ring. There is a ring that is the exact diameter of the 2.72" but only the 2.22 fits in there the 2.72 just cover the top of it. The 2.72" disc is the same disc that fits in the regular FMU without a ring right? Might be because I'm using a FMU recal kit instead of a SFMU. Can I just put the 2.72" disc in there without a ring, just make sure its centered? Because the 2.52 disc doesn't really touch the ring it'll slide on top of the ring if you push it.

as for the bleed valve does any body have pictures of how to install it. From what I gather you install it inline the vacuum line on the SFMU with a checkvalve. So it kinda works like a boost controller but backwards.

Also the car is suppose to run better with constant fuel pressure which is why the check valve is there correct? sometimes my car surges when first start it up would the check valve fix this?

I know the sfmu does come with a ring that the 2.72" disc fits in fairly loosely, not as snug as the 2.22 fits in its ring.

i have the 2.72 disk/ring installed, its the only one with a gap in between the disk and ring. you'r obviously going to need the ring unless you'r running the biggest disk. just try to center it, doesn't really matter if its a little off.

the bleed valve screws into the 10/32'' bleed port not on the vac line

looks like I'll have to track the ring down does anyone have one they can sell me?

So your suppose to take out the screw in the bleed port and screw the bleed valve in there?

got another question is it better to richen or lean the mixture through the SAFC or does it even matter I remember it has something to do with timing?

yep take the screw out and screw in the bleed valve . the bleed valve has a barb fitting on it that the checkvalve connects to
