For starters I have read the wiki page for the Audi pressure plate setup. In the writeup, it says to use the clutch disk from the 2.5L turbo engine which was in the 92 Spirit. So would the following links be to the appropriate parts?

Pressure plate:
http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/1998/audi/a4_quattro/clutch/pressure_plate.html

Clutch disk:
http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/1992/dodge/spirit/clutch/clutch_disc.html

After that all I need is a slightly modded flywheel from a 95 neon and a few bolts, correct? I wanna make sure before I place the order. Also does anyone know how this kind of setup would compare to an Ebay F1 clutch like this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/F1-STAGE-1-CLUTCH-KIT-95-99-MITSUBISHI-ECLIPSE-GS-DOHC-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQfitsZModelQ3aEclipseQ7cYearQ3a1999QQhashZitem5ad9ed4218QQitemZ390203261464QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

The non modular setup is like $215 before taking it to have the flywheel resurfaced/machined etc. Is it worth the expense?

Thanks in advance for the help

Just curious, why do you want to use audi parts on a 2gnt? What are you planning? Turbo, all motor? Hp goal?

Yup on the disc. According to my info it says all Spirits but if you really want to be sure you can match up these specs;
Outside Diameter: 9 1/8 inches (232 mm)
Spline Major Diameter:15/16
Spline Teeth: 17

As for the PP, be sure you get the 228mm one (for the 1.8. The link shows a couple of different plates).

As for the flywheel and a "few bolts", lol, yup.

If I were just doing a stocker rebuild with some bolt-ons, I would honestly get the F1. Its a proven clutch for some power (I have used it on three NA cars with lots of miles). Once you start boosting and "up the power", that would be the time to look at saving money with the AUDI set-up vs say, buying a SBC clutch. As far as the numbers, its honestly been so long since I did this that I can't recollect. But the PP had considerably more pressure than stock (and the cltuch disc had more surface area). I boosted on that set-up with no problems BUT when I put 570whp I had this set-up; http://www.clutchnet.com/product.php?productid=20176&cat=0&page=1

That is an interesting setup. But as cheap as sbc clutches are I'd just buy one lol.
