Hey all since the weather is starting to lighten up a bit we need to organize a meet. Its been a while to say the least.

I am thinking possibly the weekend of the 15th or the 22nd. Here are the things we need to figure out....

Location (Shawnee Mission Park, Hooters, or KCIR are all popular locations, but I am not sure when KCIR will open up)

I want a pretty good turnout at this one. Not just 2 or 3 cars. Lets get pretty organized so that everyone can make it.

There are a few guys from the KC area that I have yet to meet. Hope we can work something out.

I'm down. The later the date, the better the car will be. I have a bunch of crap to do to it, but I'll show no matter what--even in the mini-van if I have to! Also the closer to South Overland Park, the better since it's been $1.83 a gallon for 91 oct!!! Could you imagine if we go to war? $5 a gallon for pee water and the turbo kit will be 4sale!!!(mmm...maybe not)

Lets make it Sunday, March 16th weather permitting. Right now on weather.com it says its gonna be 73 degrees but I think they are full of shit since I got my hopes up about yesterday (Saturday) being close to 60 and it was freakin cold.

We will do it at Shawnee Mission Park. I will try to reserve a spot for us just incase everyone has the same idea. Hopefully it will be a nice dry day so we can get some good pics. I would like to get some pics of everyones car so try to have em cleaned up. I may do a little profile on my web page for everyone including pics, mods, ect.

Anyhow the only things that will postpone this will be rain or temps below 50 so make sure you check back here. Now what time should we look at??

Bring whom ever you want...Like I said the more the marrier. I was looking at the park map today and to actually reserve a shelter is like $35....I was thinking screw that!! We can just meet by the big lookout tower like we have done in the past but I am npt sure there is a BBQ around there. I will drive down there tomorrow and check it out. Well, I have to work now at 6am on Sat. in KC. I can make 1pm on Sunday. I can give directions to my parents' house and you can meet me there and then follow me to SM park. There's a McDonalds, a giant open lot, and bunch of other crap right off 69hwy and 151st St. exit that I can meet you at, so you don't have to go "house hunting" to find the parents' house.

Well after reading through the site for Shawnee Mission Park it says you are not allowed to use thier facilities without paying for the shelter. It will cost $35 for a half days rental. It says you will need to have the receipt available incase a ranger comes by because he will make you vacate the shelter if you have not paid.

Also its more if you live outside of Johnson County which I do so I would need someone to get the shelter that lives over there. If we do it I think either shelter 6 would be the best one but 5 or 7 would also work.

Would everyone be willing to chip in a couple of bucks for the shelter if we have to get one??

I can chip in. Have we looked into public parks? For example, there's a park right off the 69 highway and 151st st exit that is free, and has first come first serve. I'm down either way, but let's at least get a show of hands of who will be a definate show so people know how much to bring. (Avoiding 3 guys paying $10 each)

Well, the oil pan is off. Hopefully I'll get it put back together with nice fittings and in NON-LEAKING order. I'm also fixing the broken rear exhaust hanger and maybe have time to put some of the ES motor mounts in and rewire the fuel pump. Well, back to work now.

The weather hasta be better then tonight. We were in a severe thunderstorm warning for about 2 hours, part of that time it was a Tornado Warning. Crazy shit. I hope i dont have any hail damage. I got probs. The fittings I bought to redo the oil return won't fit past my funkin DP!!! I have to be at work by 6 am Sat. morning too. Does anybody know where I can get AN fittings off the shelf or same day in KC? If so, I'll drive back to Pitt Saturday night and put the car back together and come up on Sunday. Hey guys I just got off of work. I just found out that I have to go to work Sunday @ 11 because Monday is St. Pattys day (WTF). I work at a bar/grill called Clancy's and gues what its an IRISH bar/gril.
