That's right... Went got my emanage installed and I got the car dyno tuned. 142.2 WHP on a 5 speed 96 Eclipse w/420a. I didn't think that it would actually be so high considering the few mods I have. Thanks everyone here for all of your ideas and info over the last nine months that's helped me shape my car.

I have a few problems that I have to fix and I figure that 145-150 WHP is obtainable after I fix them. (Change oil, Fix exhaust leak, Ignition upgrade, and a couple of other little things...)

Nice numbers. Did you play your cam gears any on the dyno, or did you just work the emanage?

Also what dyno was it?

No, I had the cam gears pre set... Didn't mess with them at all. I did use the emanage to tune the fuel ratio and that got me about 10hp. That's on a dyno jet...

Very nice! Try getting the cam gears +2 intake -1 exhaust.

Think that'll give me some extra hp? I have them at both -2 right now... Hmmm... I'll have to try that when I get some time to mess with the timing belt cover

That just seems to be the number I hear repeated a lot around here. It might not do much. Should've tested it on the dyno.

Wouldn't that create more overlap? Is that the point? I have mine at -4/-4 for no apparent reason...

That is the point. It'll lower your compression slightly and give you less vacuum at idle, but will help it screem up top.

Retarding your cams will also help it up top, but not affect overlap.

I'm confused. At 0.050" lift, those cams don't have overlap at all.

The +2/-1 setting really won't do much, and the -2/-2 will probably actually give you more. Best thing to do is get on the dyno and play. It only takes a few seconds to adjust the cam gears. Start off where you are (-2/-2) and go from there. Set your intake came back to 0 and see how it does. If you lost HP, try 2* the other way. If you gained HP, leave it and try the exhaust cam the same way.
