Went back to the track today with 18psi untuned with just SFMU. My best was 13.587 @ 106.58 w/2.231 60', my other runs were 13.904 @ 106.63 w/2.315 60' and 13.661 @ 107.71 w/2.401 60'. Spun all through 2nd gear every run, and the 13.9 spun too hard in 2nd and motor jerked shifting into 3rd and bogged it. For the 13.5 I almost beat an evo running 27 psi on race gas, he ended up running 12.9, he said burned the clutch pretty bad, but was still cool only getting beat by a car length by a car making that much power and AWD. Water temps have been getting hot lately, on the way home I was rompin on it a bit and the water temp was maxed out when I got home. I think I have air in the lines im going to try to get out today, I don't think it is anything major. Figure'd I'd keep you guys posted.

Good job, I'm sure a better time is waiting for you just around the corner with that same setup. I'm waiting on my hahn fmic, and i can finally boost some. I plan to bump it from my measly 5psi to 15-18psi with just my sfmu as well. Hopefully I can do good without breaking anything.

Didn't change tire pressure

Cool, next time you go head to head with him again. Reduce you tire pressure about 30psi in the front or all four if you have an AWD. Go with 20 psi like Mike, and let him eat your nos lol.

I'm saving for my turbo kit, not any time soon. I'm still planning everything out though. My kit would be by Hahn maybe the 16g kit.
I want my kit to be run on pump gas/race, daily driver and trips to my area tracks.

rough sketch, I'm working on the interals/trans.handling and the coolant system upgrades first. Have it dynoed, see what my numbers are.

Oops. Sorry forgot to get back to you. I'm not sure what you are running for tires, but you'll want to lower the pressure of your tires so that the sidewall can take up some of the torque without spinning the tires (or minimal spin). If you have like 40's on there, never mind. It won't do a thing. But if your going with 15" or 16" rim then you probably have a tire on there with some kind of sidewall. I mention this because you talk about all the spinning. A 2.2 or a 2.3 isn't that bad for launches on FWD. But the lowering the tire pressure is not just for launches. It also helps limit your spin when shifting. Try to bring it down to around 18 or so (it's hard to tell because the pressure is dependant on your tires, the track, your set-up etc.). You will probably work down from there.

Also, did you figger out the temp situation?

Very Nice Sike, As for the temp? if your running a stock radiator and thermostat, its common. Mine would climb up in the head as well with a stock radiator.

Fluidyne fixed my issue really well.
