The smilies have invaded your post.
I am jealous of your 60 ft times.

A 9.84 1/8th mile then? That's good. My best is a 9.83 so you're looking at a low 15 sec run, if you're not hitting boost/nitrous on the top end. (what are your mods? I don't know if you should be faster if I don't know what your car has on it)

i'm shooting a 70shot of nitrous with cheap short ram intake and a $100 muffler with no cat. I'ts nothing fancy i'm trying to save for a turbo or go the custom route. I start to spray in 2nd as soon as i shift from 1-2. Tried it in first and had a intake backfire. That was when it had the stock black intake tube with foam filter. The nozzle came loose inside the pipe. Scared the hell outta me.What about you?

Me? Just a lot of bolt ons

If you hit the nitrous after the 1-2 shift, then that explains the similar 1/8th mile time to mine. If you were racing in the 1/4 mile and kept spraying, you'd see faster than low 15s (at least, that is what I would expect)

practice practice practice

Don't use mods to cover up or lack of experience at the track. Spend the time and money to head to the drag strip and practice those launches.

no offense, but those times aren't very good for nitrous at all. several people have run close to that fast (and a few faster) all motor. On motor I ran like a 9.69 in the 1/8th, and with nitrous the car pulled MUCH harder, god only knows what it would've run spraying. Are the GS's and ESI's THAT much heavier than the base model cars?

9.69 is like a low 15 second pass depending on reaction and 60ft times. i think that qualifies to be the fastest all motor eclipse that is not spraying nos, evar! of course there arnt very all motor eclipses out there that have some track times to post up.

also i highly doubt you run a mid 15 with just thos mods you have listed. i think your g-tech isnt very accurate

9.69 is faster than low 15's....i ran 9.67@77.51 and ended up with a 14.74@98.03 in the 1/4...that was my very first time running turbo..had a 2.39 60' time....but of course a t3/t4 50 trim helps in the top end...but still...i 9.69 would put them at at least high 14's....

What the fuck, I posted that slip on here, it wasn't a G-TECH, it was at a track. It was without nitrous, which you can easily tell by the low trap speed. I also don't think that my car would've beaten Todds in the 1/4. My 1/8th mile times are faster, but he trapped just a smidget faster than I did. My car was VERY light (Base model, NO options) and I cut a good 60ft and can drive pretty well. Oh yeah, and to the guy who "would beat me". We would've been a good race, if I wasn't spraying. I stayed with a Stage 2 hahn turbo'd '99 GS in the 1/4, he beat me by like 1/2 a car. His car wasn't tuned well, but still. My car was nuts in the 1/8th. I have a video (and posted it on here) of me stroking a TT AWD stealth in the 1/4 while spraying, so until you're running better than that on nitrous, don't threated me. Oh, and BTW, I don't have that car anymore, I have a GS-T now, and if you think you can beat it, just tell me where you live and how much money you want to lose on this...

well what ever you got and whatever i got and who is faster i could care less about. I'm here to learn how to make my car faster and handle better. So on to the important stuff. You said in your last car before your gst you ran a 9.6 something on the track. right? ok well my best time no nitrous is like a 10.70 so what are you doing that i'm not? what was your 60ft time and your mph? If i'm doing something wrong i would like to correct it. My mod list is now short ram intake, test pipe, with a muffler, msd dis-2, msd coilpack and wires with ngk plugs and the wet 70 shot. last time i ran i had no muffler and no msd dis or coil pack. I know it won't help much but thats my mods so far.now most times i looked at they seemed close to others wether i have nitrous or not. so could you guys post your times so i can compare them. i know i need better 60 ft's but should i go dr's or slicks? let me here your ideas and comments so i can be better. thank's for the replies and i apoligize (sp) for the length of the reply
