#933, "RE: How does the stock FPR interact with the FMU to come up with whatever fuel pressure it does?" In response to In response to 0
The stock fpr regulates the fuel pressure to 47psi. If the pressure goes above 47psi, it opens up and lets the pressure vent back to the tank. In our systems (or mine anyway .. you have the fully adjustable fmu, no?), the path to the tank is blocked by the fmu. if the fmu is seeing boost, it will not open enough for the excess pressure to vent, thus increasing fuel pressure. Since mine's a nonadjustable 12:1 ratio fmu, it adds 12lbs. of pressure for every 1lb of boost.
