Originally posted by kwelity I have white smoke coming from my exhaust and wastegate, the wastegate has oil coming out of it for sure. now i know this is going to sound stupid, but I didn't connect any vaccum lines yet and it got to dark so i called it a day, but started it up just to see. and thats when the smoke cloud hit me. Now im hoping it's just the lines but I want to know before i go back over there tomorrow so im prepared. Would the vacuums do something like this?

Check out the set-up when you have time and then get back to us. In answer to your original question, no, unplugged vac lines would not do this. Also, keep in mind, on install, some smoke is normal. It should burn off relatively quickly.
