A little late, and not much I could add to this, but I'll give it a try...

First thing I'd do is dump the AFX/R+SAFC combo to immediately fund MSnS+wbO2. Pushing the mechanical limits of the platform with anything less than a tuning solution capable of running the show is just asking for problems.

Then there's the benefits:
- More power out of your current setup.
- Better economy around town when you aren't racing.
- Practice tuning on an old, soon-to-be rebuilt engine.
- Prepares you to maximize each modification you make moving forward.

Look at it this way: You're doing your research now so you don't install the wrong parts later. You want to make an informed decision unique to your situation - not just order up a list of cookie cutter forum parrot blather. Why would you want a cookie cutter, one-size-fits-all tuning solution at the heart of your build?

MSnS+wbO2 should be your first order of business.

Now, after you've got MSnS+wbO2 onboard, call up Mr. Frye here in Arizona and have him build you a true LTH. Neon guys were picking up 20-30whp with those five years ago and we STILL don't have a consistent market for them on our side of the table.

Work on your wheelmanship. For now, the only time you want to think about is your 60ft. Get your launch down. Consistency is the name of the game. Todd "The Machine" Scungio (aka: VX100) was running low 15s in a 95% stock RS years ago.

I'm no drag racer, but I know the first 60ft is all you. Building top end (which is what I know you'll have to balance if you want anything useful on the street) is simply a question of building the right head, fueling it properly, and keeping your foot in it. That first 60ft, though, that's where races are won and lost.

MSnS+wbO2+LTH+practice could get you deep into the 14s.
