How in the hell is that ghetto? If the fans dont work how is he going to even drive the car without it overheating. Sometimes electrical problems take a while to figure out. So why not just bypass the relay and have them run all the time. I said nothing about hackin up the fans, you can by pass the relay at the fuse box with a small jumper wire. At least he would be able to drive the car around.
