You can buy a non-modular style clutch, Spec makes them, they are machined to fit onto an aluminum non modular flywheel.
I would never replace the clutch disc and leave the pressure plate. By the time you have put the miles on and worn the clutch out, I think it's a good idea to replace the pressure plate and throw out bearing as well. The price of the actual standard flywheel is inconsequential in a modular set up, especially when you you take into account that when you rebuild a non-modular clutch you should re-machine the surface.
On top of all of that, the ease of installation is much nicer.
