You shouldn't need to add fluid either. (unless you have a leak)
On my car now I have never changed the fluid either.
Only added a little when I did the final drive gear change because some comes out when doing that.

Im not too sure on the Lucas treatment but IMO its not needed either.

yeah so my fluid might be dirty.. I call that added "friction modifiers"

all I ever do is change the oil/oil filter every 3-4K miles. thats it for fluids.
