I need to get a gtech or something to practice launching, although most races of mine are from a roll. Just to give you an idea, I was racing an automatic neon, from a stop we raced time, I brake torqued both times he didn't and he had me off the launch but couldn't pull any further than he got on the launch, I then raced him on the highway from a roll and gave him a beating, so I'll believe brake torquing isn't the way to go, my car definitely feels like its a lot faster if I go half throttle for a second then slam it, I'll have to try all these methods.
