Id actually suggest you guys switch to the new redesigned solenoid pack, I bet it would help alot. plus its beefy and gets rid of the ratcheting sound when selecting gears/downshifting
The part number I believe is in the big list of performance parts available in the main tranny sticky

1998 dodge avenger 4 cyl AT
