Sorry, it was with my GSX, not the GS . My goal was to get over 400 WHP, on pump so I didn't quite make it. It looks like I need a SMIM to get there on pump gas. The setup was 18 psi on an FP3065 turbo tuned to 11.8:1 with the AEM EMS. I still need to scan in and upload the graph for it since I didn't get it on the video.

Wow that car sounds very familiar . On just 18psi pump gas, damn nice! There's no way I could get away with 11.8 A/F, what was your timing like? Any knock?

Wow, those rims look familiar Timing was relatively conservative. At 3700 rpm (where the turbo spools) WOT my timing was 4.5 deg and at 7500 rpm it's at 14 deg - no knock. Also, I am running a 2.3 stroker which helps...

Oh heheh I didn't even notice that. Is your WG dumped? I can hear it open but can't determine if it's loud enough to be dumped.. doesn't seem as loud as mine(not like it matters, just wondering).
Hmm maybe we could compare between 2.0 and 2.3 stroker when I get my car tuned a little better and find out why I knock unless I have rediculously low timing. But right now I'm running around 20-21psi(1.4bar WG spring) so up that shiz

Yes, the WG is dumped. It's a Tial 44mm wastegate with a v-band dump tube ~1 ft long. It's louder than you'd think from the video.
I was running as high as 24 psi with less timing but I was getting some knock which I chalk up to inconsistant pump gas. I'm still playing with the AEM to get the perfect combo of boost, fuel and timing to maximize power without knock. Once I get there, I'll dyno it again...then it's time for c16.
I would be interested to see the difference between our cars... what is your turbo, motor, fuel management setup??

stock 2.0 block, head(except cams), tranny FP3065 Tial 44mm WG dumped ~1 ft. FP 2.5" o2 housing 3" Apexi DP/Catback FP 4" intake Spearco 2-216 IC w/ 2.5" piping FP2 cams FIC 950cc inj. DSMLink V2 and for right now, stock intake and exhaust manifolds .
Of course there's more mods and supporting mods but that's the basics for power. I haven't had it dyno'd, I'll probably wait until I get manifolds, but I'll probably go to the track soon when it gets done being painted(should be a week or so).

We have a pretty similar setup. Mine is:
2.3L 7 bolt block (JE 9:1 pistons, Crower rods, knifed/polished 2.4 crank, BS eliminator,) with a custom machined oil galley to the thrust bearing FP3065 AEM EMS w/ UEGO wideband controller 880cc/min injectors Tial 44mm wastegate w/dump tube Evo III exhaust manifold 1g head 1g intake/TB HKS 272 cams 1mm oversize intake valves (black nitrate) 1mm oversize exhaust valves (inconel) Crower valve springs AEM cam gears (cams degreed in) Apexi N1 3" turbo back (no cat) FP 4" intake pipe Greddy Big FMIC Greddy Type S BOV AEM 1:1 FPR + many more supporting engine/drivetrain parts
Once you get yours on the dyno, hit me up. I'm curious to see the difference in numbers.

Sounds like fun numbers but you should definitely be able to get more out of it than 380. With your setup you should see over 400 easy. Are you running the stock MAS or a GM-Maf?
A SMIM will definitely help out your numbers tremendously and up that boost. On 93 octane you shouldn't have any problem running 20-21psi for sure. Up the boost, bring that A/F Ratio down a hair, I always shot for 11.5:1.
I am going to be running a similar setup
2.3L 2G Head - Port & Polish - MADD Dual Springs FP2 Cams GT35R Turbo w/ .63 A/R 950 cc injectors DSMlink Wideband SBR Header 38mm wastegate
Aiming for about 450 whp on pump gas with stock MAS. Might have to upgrade to SMIM to get there also.

i was going to say, with 880 cc injectors you should be running more than 18psi. Looks like all the 2gnt guys that went to the darkside decided to go all out. Im running a fp green with eagle rods ross pistons, fp2 cams and jsut hit 11's

I am running the AEM EMS which is a speed density setup. I use a map sensor instead of a MAS or a MAF.

Thanks. I know I can make a lot more power than what I'm making now, but I know that my main air restriction lies with the 1g intake manifold and throttle body. I'm sure with some more boost and less restriction I can get in the mid 400's on 93 octane. For now, I'll just add some boost to get to 400 and then see what I can do with C16.
BTW, congrats on getting into the 11's! I hear what you say about 2gnt guys converting to the dark side. I prefer to think of it as "seeing the light" though
