Finally made it into the 12 second club today. Track was shitty, and I really wasn't launching the car too hard for fear of killing my clutch, but the numbers were:
It's barely a 12, but I'll take it. The car had plenty more in it, I just wasn't willing to push it today. Mods are 3" turbo back, air filter, mbc, and an emanage. Running 19 psi on a mix of 93 and 106 octane. That may be the last time this car ever sees the 1/4 mile.

nice work man. car is soo nice. theres an old lady driving around a silver evo 8 in my town. im pretty sure she has no idea of the potential that car has. even if she is in her 60's i wont rev up on her at a redlight.
Nice run Greg! Like you said, your car definetly has more in it with a more agressive launch.....but I know how those clutches are. Congrats on hitting that 12's
hey greg you should get big al over at dynoflash to do up your ecu. I'm sure you have read the posts over at evolutionm i'm gonna have him do mine when i go get my new baby next month

I can do everything with my emange and a mbc that the dyno flash can do, and I don't have to drive to New England. He's getting good numbers, but my times work out to ~290 whp and around 350 crank. Good enough for me.

That run was done at 19psi with a conservative 11.8:1 AF ratio on race gas. I had 23 degrees of timing at 6800rpms, which is why I say conservative. I think the stock bov was leaking a bit since I'm usually running 20-21psi. After the car cooled completely down(later that night), I was hitting 23psi.
Dave, you're right. I probably will go back, but only after a new clutch, a new bov, and some more aggressive tuning. I think 12.0:1 to 12.5:1 AFR will work well on race gas. In the mean time I'm going to hit a new semi-local awd dyno and do some hardcore tuning. I'm shooting for 290 whp on pump gas, without doing any other mods. I will be spending more time on nearby road courses and doing auto-x next year though.
