wel I'am new to the forms, My name is Jesse, and I'am from Lake Dallas, texas.. I drive an 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS, I had an question and not sure what form to post it to, and i searched to make sure that it wasn't already answered, but I just finshed rebuilding my engine, from an timing belt broke, and we got the car back together and it runs great, the only problem I am having with it now, is my Ac doesn't turn on, it doesn't Blow from the vents, and the Blower motor doesn't turn on at all... the AC worked Fine Before the car broke down, we have checked all the fuses and reley and i replaced the fuse box with an different one because somebody told me that the bottom half of it wasn't getting power, I don't know what else to do
The AC compressor won't engage unless it thinks the blower fan is engaged. The blower fan uses a resistor pack, one resistor per speed setting. You may want to check the fan speed resistors on the bottom of the fan body to make sure they are all functional. There are wiring diagrams in the factory service manuals linked in my signature, they can provide both wire colors and expected resistance values for you to check against.
