Hey everyone, my name is Jim and I'm new here to the 2GNT forums.
I've been a member of aseclub.net for a couple of years and thought I would come over here as well, since there seems to be lots of good performance info for the 420A.
I've had a 97 V6 Auto Avenger for a couple of years now but just picked up another 97 Avenger as a project car.... this one a 420A 5 speed
The engine ate a valve causing damage to the head and piston. I've already picked up a new head and am planning my rebuild now. It will stay N/A for a bit then maybe later down the road I'll turbo it. The engine has seen better days:
The car itself has seen better days too:
I have a race car (1980 Dodge Mirada w/ a 440 running 10s) so the goal for the Avenger isn't anything crazy, just a clean reliable daily driver..... myabe with a little bit of boost Looking forward to reading, learning and planning a nice build for this engine!
Outside of Corona: "That sucks, peace out..." (jamie walks away)... "Sweeet, what we doin?" -Zac Tim's garage (prior to motor install): "Im gonna smoke real quick, that way if you fuck up I am already nicotined up" -Tim

Ive always thought about making a 420A avenger go fast N/A. I bet those are a bit heavier than a 2g though..
