Don't know how much HP is the limit. But most guys wind up getting a tranny off of a NEON. Certain years bolt up, others you can swap bellhousings and do it. The benefit is a taller 4th and 5th gear. I am not sure if it can withstand greater HP, but I bet it is the tranny in most of these 400 Whp machines we keep reading about.

Head (not plural) and there isn't much of a structural upgrade that HAS to be done. You would however greatly benefit in performance with a head the is ported and possibly a good valve job.

Finally please get aquainted with the search function on this forum. This site has alot of good info including the above and in many places. All you have to do is find it.

Welcom to 2GNT!

its unlimited as long as you have the money and skills... if you never have turboed your car before then I dont recommend hitting the highest you can right off the bat...learn and search as much as you can before even starting your turbo setup. dont think its going to be a walk in the park...but dont think its not worth it either...its for sure worth it because you learn alot about your car that chances are you didnt know... and the more you know the better it'll be and longer it will last.

Our heads have great flow. Possibly a mild port and polish may help out if you are pushing the 400whp level...otherwise our heads flow great with boost.

No need to upgrade the trans unless your making a LOT of power, our trans is one of the tougher ones out there to handle power. You can upgrade your clutch, get a LSD, upgrade axles, but all of that really isn't necessary if you're not boosted.
