I recently bought a star turbo kit from someone here and has no shaftplay and is fine. everything is on but when it runs for a couple mins it starts to smoke abit?? I was thinking too much oil but the line isnt big at all. plz help me think of a couple possibilties.
by the way it smoke out of the turbo and out of behind the manifold.

nope not leaking.. i forgot to hook up the vac line from the wastegate and i think that fixed my problem. when i punch it alittle bit it still smells like smoke.

What size return line are you using for it? If it's too small, it could possibly be backing up the oil in the line and that's why it's smoking.

also what color is the smoke? Does it smell like burnt oil? or fuel? what fuel set up are you running because you may just be smelling rich exhuast? I dont know what would cause it to come from behind the mani other then an oil leak driping on the exhuast...list your entire setup and go from there...you'd be suprised what little detials will tell alot.
