i have heard that if u get too big of IC piping u loose psi, right? so is 3" of IC piping for a tdo6H 20g good??? or will it make it lose psi? and where do i get different colors of IC pipings other than at modernperformance.com?

I think it would depend on the intercooler, a lot of companies will list the PSI loss on their intercoolers ( I actually wondered this a lot time ago when in gran tursimo 4 if you buy a big Intercooler you loose a lot of low end power) same principal IMO

get the regular cheap aluminium stuff, size and fit the whole thing so that its how ya want it. then polish it up and take it and have it anodised. then it can be any color you want, or even do funky stuff like acid washing and multicolor washes

Big intake piping won't make you lose boost pressure. Restrictions like bends, transitions, sloppy connections, and intercoolers can reduce the boost pressure that actually makes it to the intake manifold. If you have a boost controller that reads from the intake manifold, your turbo will just work harder to maintain the same boost pressure. What big intake piping will do is delay the onset of boost in the intake manifold. If you imagine that the inside of all of your intake piping and intercooler is a volume that must be filled before you read boost at the intake manifold, you get an idea of what is going on. Small diameter piping would improve response time, but result in greater restriction (pressure loss). Large diameter piping would hurt response time, but result in less restriction. The key is picking a piping diameter that fits your needs. Your engine displacement, RPM, boost pressure, and driving style would determine the ideal diameter for you.
