#99569, "eBay 420a turbo manifold that looks like it might be worth it"
I was a recent victim to the OBX manifold scam (advertised for Eclipse 420a but works only for a Neon). I thought of making the best out of a bad situation by trying to modify the manifold but decided to just cut my losses and buy another. I found one from an eBay store called Autoboost. $189 +25 shipping/handling = $214. The auction add looks pretty pathetic. Not the least bit fancy. They state up to 5 business days before they ship after payment has cleared. I utilized "buy it now" and paid immediately afterwards. I received an e-mail the next day stating that the item has been shipped with a tracking #. Not to shabby. I received the package today and I must say that I am happy. It looks like any other log manifold. I did a test mount. It fit!! I'll be posting pics later. I'll also weigh it for those who care. The turbo build is now full speed ahead.

Post the auction. And pictures
I bought my manifold from the seller "Autosquare" and it's been holding up very well. It's a Star/Treadstone knockoff, but very well made and only costed me $180 I believe. It is a cast piece. Is this what kind yours is?

Yep, it's the same manifold. Just another knock off, I've got the Treadstone brand one. It's held up fine, and like Mike said, his is Autosquare and it's held up fine. I don't see why this one wouldn't.

I like this lie on their auction:
"We are the designer of all our products. We do not copy anyone's design. If there is another manifold that looks like ours, it is a copy of our original design. Beware of cheap imitations."
Riiiiight.

Exactly. I've had my STAR kit since 2000, same manifold design. What a bunch of douchbags.

If we state that, it is true. We used to manufacture these manifolds exclusively for Star. Now that they are out of business we can sell them to you directly. If you compare ours with a Star one they are identical. Same manufacturer, same tooling, same painting. And if you look closely to it we had to erase their logo.

Why is it you are selling them for dirt-cheap then when the STAR manifold was much more expensive?

STAR is aka DRAG, a large Honda turbo kit manufacturer, as far as I knew. I doubt that DRAG has gone out of business even if "STAR" isn't making 420A kits any longer. If you made their manifolds, good for you. Who are you? As a long time STAR kit user myself, I'm curious to know who it is that really made these parts I've run for so long. I'd be glad to have someone to offer suggestions to after running your stuff for oh.. seven years.
Make yourself known. We're always glad to have vendor-maket interaction here on 2GNT.com!

I've got to say, the manifold *looks* slightly different than the Autosquare unit. To the OP, or Autoboost, would it be possible to post pictures of the manifold around the flanges; I'm curious to see how/if they're machined at those points.

Sorry for taking so long to post follow-up. Yes, it is a cast piece. I was going to weigh the manifold but forgot. I'm just wanting to do my part in contributing to the community by making sure the next "Turbo-er" knows that he has options as far as places to shop for turbo manifolds and doesn't get duped into that OBX manifold. Here are those pics.
