I am going to be turbo soon as some of you may know, and I am going to run catless. If i do the resistor mod and put my cat back on for when i need to go to emission testing will it effect the emissions when the cat goes back on and the resisor mod is still there?

If you put the cat back on before you go to emissions, you won't need to do the resistor mod. The resistor mod only gets rid of the CEL when the test pipe is on. Just put on the cat, unplug the battery for 10 min, and then start it up. The CEL should be gone and it should be ready for emissions.

No. You need to go through a certain cycle or you will fail emissions. I havent used a cat in maybe 4 years, and never got a cel. And yes ive passed emissions. Just do the resistor, unless you have visual inspection

Yeah come to think of it im not that worried because i have a scan gauge at all times that can clear CEL codes with the touch of a botton. I just though maybe if i did the resistor mod and still put the cat on they would give me crap, i wont worry about it now.. Thanks!
