#99403, "Best Fuel Filter for high hp?"

Whats a good fuel filter out there that you guys have seen that is good for higher pressures and higher horsepower?

I found this one at Summit, the guy on the phone says its the best and most popular, but to me, it looks pretty damn small and small doesnt always flow that great...some do, but they are better designed then this one.

Any thoughts or suggestions where to pick one up, or a specific one you guys like?

I use the russel one in a 6an size from Summit. I have the aeromotive one doug mentioned, it is very nice but I am not sure if I like it or not.

May be out of your league. emoji J/K

Seriously, it's a great filter. I love mine. You're not going to find a $10 filter that flows like $100 filter. If that's all you want to spend, just use an OEM style filter.

i agree with doug

i just followed Aeromotives guide
a #12304 (100 micron) before the fuel pump then a #12301 (10 micron) after the fuel pump.
overkill? maybe, but then again im a sucker for "factory recomended"

Same one I use and have used for the past 3 years. Works just fine.

What cracks me up the most is that you spend a couple thousand on that thing, yet don't want to spend more than 10 bucks on a high quality HIGH FLOW/HIGH PRESSURE fuel filter? lol.

I will get that one Terry, thanks.

Chris, I dont mind spending the money, the only reason I showed that one for $10 is because the guy on the phone I talked to said that was the most popular filter they sell....?
