I just learned tig and i have 9 weeks of strait up free time for a couple of hours everyday and as a project I decided to make an equel length tubular manifold with a T3 and wastegate flange. I got all the flanges so now i need to know what kind of piping i need to get for this? I'm worried about getting around the thermostat and placement of the wastegate?

Your options are 16 Guage tubing (thin), sch10 piping(thick), sch40 piping(thicker). All available from Burns Stainless or McMaster.

That's part of fabricating... you'll be on your own when it comes to placement.
Don't worry about getting it equal length. Focus on 10-15" long runners and smooth transitions. Make sure you back purge with straight Argon (4-5 cfh is fine).
Consistent welds with 100% penetration is key. Otherwise, the inside of the seam (that hasn't been fully penetrated) will heat up faster than the outside... causing expansion, which will crack your welds. Also, if you use sch10 or sch40, be sure to do a root pass with no filler, then a 2nd pass with filler.

Having personal experience with learning to tig so that I could build a tubular equal length manifold after work, I'll make a suggestion. Take your estimates of time and money required to complete the project and triple them. Sch 10 304L piping is easy for beginners to work with and McMaster Carr has good pricing. Research other manifolds on the internet. Don't be afraid to steal design concepts. Just make sure you steal from the best. If you are making a complex design, SolidWorks software is an excellent tool. You can create all of the Sch 10 fittings and attach them together in the program. You can have a complete parts list along with a repeatable design before you buy a thing. If the design is fairly simple, buy some fittings and start tacking them together. Tweek the design as you go. Don't forget to keep checking the manifold for fitment on the actual engine. Having a spare head to bolt the flange to can be very helpful when doing the finish welds. Those pipes can move around alot as you weld. I am 10 weeks into my design/build and am just starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Maybe another month and I'll post pictures.

Vibrant performance is another manufacturer for tubing you may want to take a look at. I have dealt with them on the consumer and reseller sides and have been pleased with their service and price.
As many other people have said - solidworks (I actually prefer ProEngineer) can help significantly during the design phase. The exhaust on the WPI FSAE car I am buidling was designed in ProEngineer. Just be very careful and accurate measuring locations for datum points, both for the flanges and any points it needs to clear (i.e. the thermostat.) that should give you a leg up when you begin to fabricate and avoid waste.
