#99045, "stock injectors with 1:1"

So I'm getting some fuel cut with the stock injectors and the 1:1 aeromotive. I assume that I need to fully install my ms and put my 440's back in to get rid of this hesitation. or at least just have the ms run my fuel.

Well I passed emissions today (yay for me), so I can screw with the car again now.

I'm running the star fcd on it and it seems to run fine minus a small vacuum leak somewhere. It feels like it's cutting a hesitating around boost. I was told by someone else that unless I'm running the old vortech fpr from the star kit to aise pressure, I will be going lean under boost because the 1:1 isn't raising enough for the stock injectors under boost. So explain this for me...
How does the ms fix that? Does it adjust the actual injectors to compensate for lower pressure?

then, what fuel pressure do I need to be running with the ms and 440's?

Thanks

Yeah, she runs...sorta!

You will be going extremely lean running the 1:1 with stock injectors under the stock ECU's control.

The MS controls the pulsewidth of the injectors to add or subtract fuel. If you have a MS, install the 440's and set your static fuel pressure around 43.5 psi. IF you don't have the MS or the ability to tune it right now install the vortech fmu with the stock injectors until your ready for the MS.

That's exactly what I needed. Thanks. I sold my fmu!

Oh well, I guess I need to install my ms fully now huh!

Now would this cause my vacuum to be low. I'm sitting around 15lbs or so and idle? I know the motor is fine because I just rebuilt it! Everything is running perfectly on it. I'm assuming I have a small leak, I think I can hear something, but it could be something else.

This would solve all my problems then!

Thanks a lot-

You either have a vacuum leak or your cam timming is little off.

I ran my scan tool on my car while it was running and the timing showed fine. It was correcting by a large amount at idle. I'm betting I have a vacuum leak. I'll be able to fix it I hpe when I pull the mani apart to change injectors.
