i like the zeitronix wideband . there are other good ones to tho . yhe aem, innovative etc. find which one u like the best . for egt if getting autometer get the tre probe cuz autometer probes are pretty slow . as far as tuning u cant really do anything with a fmu . ur looking for around 11.5 at wot on the wb02 and ur egts should be lower than 1600 at full boost

Well it looks like you need to try a little harder on searching. Those questions you asked are pretty easy to find answers to. Most people like to use the Zeitronix ZT-2 for Wideband and EGT for it's fairly inexpensive price and great functionality. I have personally seen it on my friend's car and we hooked up a laptop to it and it was very accurate.

For your FCD question, there are a couple guys on here selling some. eclipse982nrRST (Mike) and VelocitaPaola (Paul) usually have postings in the BST section. They are two different kinds of FCD's, so it depends what type you are looking for.

You won't be able to tune your car with your current setup unless you opt for an SFMU with some bigger injectors or a engine management like MSnS or Hahn's Portfueler. Try doing a few searches on those topics and you will find plenty of info.

EDIT:
Beat me to it haha.

Bigrob let's see if we can get you back on track here. Your questions are just too general (not focused enough to be able to answer in a single response) or too "simple" (easy to answer in one quick search). It gives the appearance that you are not using the search function at all. The guys on here are very helpful but we need to have you help yourself. The advantage to that is that you will be able to ask more focused questions (and understand the answers better).
The MSnS is a great tuning tool. But you will need to do some research on it to see if it's for you.
Please look at this as an attempt to help you get, and understand, the best answers to your more focused questions.

u cant tune with a wideband and egt without having a adjustable fuel system . a fmu is not adjustable . u will need a sfmu . a wb02 and egt are gauges .for example say to rich under boost . then u will adjust your fuel pressure until u get good numbers on ur wb02 and egt . it not like u can just press some buttons on a wb02 and have it tune ur car .

+1 on the zeitronix setup. I run the display, EGT and boost sensor. No complaints at all with it.

first of all... I've searched and the only things I've found dont make since to me because they are from a different point of view...2nd....most of the searches I've found are old and as they get more recent the answers change...3rd if you didnt want to help then why contribute your time to this question? Obviously there are answer if I would just search...but I find it easier to find answers by asking questions not listening to other peoples questions which dont relate to me....trust me if I would've found the answers to my ?'s I would've posted there or I wouldnt have needed to post at all...jack_of_trades, how is that your CEL isnt on?

Why would my wideband cause a CEL? I personally am using the Zeitronix's "simulated" narrowband output going to the ecu (until I finish my new 3" downpipe with dual O2 bungs)but most people keep the factory O2 sensor and add a weld-in bung (which you can get from zeitronix when you order from their site) for the wideband sensor and just weld it in 18" or further from the turbo housing.

The wideband setup is nothing more than a self contained monitoring system of the exhaust gases and in no way connected to the car's operating system(except in my case where i use the simulated output).

jack oftrades....I was asking...since you have turbod your car it seems to me that in most cases when a non turbo car gets turbod the CEL comes on...I wasnt saying it was because of the wideband/narrowband...I am aware of what the wideband does and I know that you cant tune a car at the push of a button... I'm just learning and not asking questions right. I appreciate all of your posts though...most have been helpful...but in any case believe me I'm not done asking ?'s....I will search what I can but if I dont find what i'm looking for then I will post a new topic...

Most CEL lights you see on turbo'd 420A's are from people blocking off their EGR system or from people removing their catalytic converter and putting a test pipe in instead. There is a simple mod to trick the rear O2 sensor input into thinking the cat is working fine (I have a test pipe too but a lot of 95's don't have a rear O2 setup anyhow), so that one is easy. With the EGR blocked off, you pretty much will generally have to deal with seeing your light on unless you have a '95 which sometimes doesn't have this problem (mine doesn't). I honestly prefer to have my CEL light working fine to inform me of certain things that I am unaware are happening. Most modded DSM'rs seem to monitor everything very closely anyhow with dataloggers and widebands so they already are aware of problems that arise. Its up to you really if you try to avoid the CEL light issues.

I personally think its best to just get it directly from zeitronix's site like I did. They shipped all of my stuff out the very next day.

Its $279 for just the zt-2 module and sensor and you can monitor everything with a laptop. If you want the screen so you can monitor things while you are driving, it'll be $399. Then you have to add the cost of the boost sensor and EGT probe if you want to get them with the setup. Trust me, all in all, its quite a setup for the money.

that's what i would do too, however, I would decide if you want the standard display or the normal 2 1/16" gauge which is supposed to be available sometime this month. Standard display can show more from what I've seen on their site, but the ease of reading the gauge is really nice.

that's a hell of a deal. Did you get it from someone who bought it and just took a loss on the sale b/c they decided they didn't want it or is there someone that actually is a dealer for zeitronix on ebay?
