Well I finally got around to finishing up the install of my wideband. I must say this was one of the least troublesome things I've ever done, almost everything went right.

Here's where I run into issues....

I did a few short pulls and whatta ya know my a/f is crazy. At one point under boost it goes from a nice 11.4-11.5 up to a 12.4 then down to 10.5 before I let off. This was a second gear wot pull from 3200 rpms up to 5700 rpms. Idle fp set at 28, largest disc, dark spring 30# injectors. Something's not right that should be plenty rich.

Shift 3rd gear...WOT 3900rpms a/f 13.0 and then it slowly decreases to 12.0 at 4500rpms. Again way too lean when it should be the opposite...

Now I slow down and do a 4th gear pull... 11.0 @ 1600rpms which gradually slopes down to 10.4 at 2000-2100rpms then gradually slopes back up to a 12.0 at 3400rpms and peak boost (6.5psi)

Couldn't really tell ya what boost was at each point b/c I don't have the boost sensor I just have a peak and hold gauge I was watching

I'm glad I can just park it for now b/c I don't want to figure this out in the freezing cold.

I will be snapping a few pics tomorrow and finishing up the write-up that I started in Oct I think, lol.

I actually tried first at the idle I had it set at (I thought 20-22, but apparently when I checked it was only 18psi, maybe cause of the change in weather)

On a 4th gear pull from 2100-3700rpms it went from 11.5 to 12.9

IDK I guess I'll just play around with it a bit, I can't really push it too much though b/c my HG is shot so I just spit oil out of the back of the engine when boosting. I may just have to wait till the spring summer when the car is fixed.

BTW if you have some pics I'll take 'em and try and fit them in the write-up. If they're hosted send me the links, if not you can email to coreyswanson3@Juno.com
