#9831, "S-AFC and boost controller"

Where do you guys mount urs at? I am tryin to think of a good out of the way place but close enough to reach it. I want a A'Pexi S-AFC and a A'Pexi AVC-R boost controller. This is after i get my turbo of course but is there anything i should need to know about either of those or would u suggest i get something else. I havent heard anything bout Greddy's new E-Manage AFC but it looks good and hooks up to a pc. Just like in the movie "DANGER TO MANIFOLD beep beep! SHUT UP!" Anyways, TIA! Lata!

My AFC is mounted under my radio face in the dash...fits in there perfectly with some plastic on both sides to finish the job

Hey toy...Have some pictures of that setup? I've seen Wyatt's before, but the more examples I see, helps me do things myself.

Thanks!

Ill take some pictures tomorrow but its the easiest install in the world....just remove the panels to screw and unscrew the radio (you dont have to take radio out) cut a piece of 2x4 off (7 inches) use the supplied adheisive that comes with the s-afc and attach it to the 2x4...i did it right in the middle of it...ive also seen it on the left with a gauge on the right side. (on here I think) after the s-afc is attached to the 2x4 just slip it under the radio and use the factory screws to bolt it in...I lined up the AFC face perfectly with the radio face and the it works like a champ. all you need is a saw, screw driver and tape measure to do the job...

I would check with RRE. I always say go there first when people ask for parts. emoji Also check the dsmtrader or partstrader as you can find good deals on them used. In fact when I went to the DFI I sold mine for $200.

would the avc-r do manny of the operations the s-afc and the profec-b do combined?

just wondering if it would be better to get the profec-b and s-afc or just the avc-r.

no the avc-r will give you boost pressure- the afc-r will let you lean out or make richer and adjust your fuel and air
