have the treadstone turbo kit and i starting to getr my money together for an engine biuld and had some questuions on internals im getting eagle H beam rods i havent made up my mind about pistons yet but my question is has any one used a callies stroker crank or is it a bad idea to have a stroker with a turbo

i only blew my 420a 0nce

It's not bad to have a stroker with a turbo. Lot's of 4g63 guys have them and I think even some 2gnt's have them. It will help spool your turbo faster and give you more tourqe in the lower rpm's. As far as pistons go, stick with je's with a compression of 8.8:1. It gives you more of a window for tuning than the higher comp. pistons have.

on the pistons the reason i havent decided is im kinda looking for some good 8.0:1 compresion pistons to allow a little more boost but it seems like almost everyone here uses either the 8.8:1 eagle or weisco

i only blew my 420a 0nce

Check with ERT. They can have custom venolia pistons made for you to your specs.

If you have 8.8:1 you can make more power with less boost than if you have 8.0:1. And with 8.8:1 there is still a great window for tuning. I would recommend getting the 8.8:1's.

ok well im glad that no one thought it was a bad idea i will probably just go with the 8.8:1 pitons but not certain thanks guys
