Hey guys, i blew up my stock motor and really dont have the time or the means to rebuild it as i just moved. I am gonna keep it and rebuid it eventually but i need a car now so it's either this or go find another stock one in a scrap yard. It comes with My choice of camshafts,431-0010, 431-0012, 431-0014, 431-0016 or 431-0018. probably the 431-0016, since i am planning on turboing it eventually. and my choice of pistons, either 8.6, 10.5 or 12.5


2.0 Litre Create Motor Long Blocks comes with the following parts installed.

Clevite 77 Rod Bearing Set

Clevite 77 Main Bearing Set

Total Seal Piston Rings

New Carter Water Pump

All gaskets and Seals

Melling Oil Pump

Eagle Specialty Forged Rods

JE Pistons in your choice of 8.6, 10.5 or 12.5 compression

16 Eaton PT Cruiser Lash Adjusters (Lifters)

16 PT Cruiser Cam Followers (Rockers)

Timing Belt

Complete Head Gasket Set

1 Pair of Crane DOHC Cams 431-0010, 431-0012, 431-0014, 431-0016 or 431-0018

1 Pair of AEM Adjustable Cam Gears

Crane Valve Springs

set of stainless steel valves

Seasoned Block and head

Blocks are bored and honed with a deck plate to insure that the cylinder walls are true.

Crankshaft and rotating assembly are race balanced

Cylinder head; Smooth the casting, and blend the seats, full race port with reshaped ports, reshaped combustion chamber, and full port matching.

Cams are degreed for proper centerline All clearances are blue printed

When ordering your short block specify SOHC or DOHC, and specify compression ratio you desire.

Long blocks are shipped without valve cover and without oil pan and no timing cover

Shipped without exhaust manifold and intake manifold

To start I dont know what im talking about when it comes to cams, but using turbo cams with no turbo. problem?

Only thing i'd change is the bearings. Clevite's are actually softer than OEM bearings, not good if you accidently get a little knock...bearings take a lot of unneccesary pounding under detonation.

other than that it looks pretty good, use the search though you'll enlighten yourself

Alrighty, i did search for those of you who just want to say search. I wanted to know if anyone had one and how they worked. In no way does the posts about howell say if people like their motors or if anyone has one. To those who actually had something informative to say then thank you emoji

Yes its good motor. There is a straight up answer.

Just change the piston rings to JE.

Yes sir you have some reading to do.

I have heard the total seal rings are junk, but don't just take my word for it.
